Can you have characters on different servers? Now that I have made a character on one server, I don't see the servers listed when I log in and it doesn't seem like I can make one on another server. Thanks again to those in the know. : )
Yes, you can have characters on other servers. I do believe that there is a maximum of 4 characters per account, although I haven't fully verified this.
You can choose a server for the character after you go through the character creation process. It's one of the last steps before you enter the game.

There is indeed 4 character limit per account. When you make your character, the end of the creation asks which server you want to select.
Thanks--Much appreciated. I didn't get as far as last step because I was wondering why it wouldn't let me choose a server!

Is that 4 characters per server or 4 character per account regardless of server? In other words if I have 2 characters on a server and 2 characters on another server, that's it? Or 4 per server like it was 8 per server in EQ1?
lol, its not that bad, i guess its to cut down on instanced zones etc, such as our freebie inn rooms, i already have 4, times that by the already hundreds if not thousands playing, and thats alot of server space..
