Yes they did recently send out beta invites.

There was one in the email of "someone I know", but I can't say who. :P

Thursday night they were sent out.

I got one but I can't use it my video card is not up to date. I seen a bunch of EQ2 accounts for sale on player auctions tho.

I think its totally lame that they continue to award beta accounts to people who pay for the crap they couldn't sell otherwise. It's even more lame that long term EQ subscribers continue to take a backseat to the EQ2 beta program for this as well. I've been subscribing almost 5 years to EQ with only a short break for a couple months. Half of that time I've kept 2 accounts active, and I still have yet to see beta acceptance.
