My WHM IS 50 so yeah I got the whole story.. as for your WHMs ability to solo... well in all the complex MMOs where healers arent meant to solo you can still build yourself in a way that would allow you too, so you basically have to earn the ability to do so instead of it being given too you.. i.e Ive seen some pretty badass whms in FFXI that could solo stuff most normal healers wouldnt be able too.

As for MEs downer ending ummm I dont recall everyone dying I recall the "green pill" being the new ending which resulting in everyone basically "fusing" with the Reapers (and getting a green glow/eye and thus becoming a new being or something like that and LOL at FFXIV not lore breaking... the games barely a year old.. if its still popular 10 years from now like another MMO of their I can assure you thee will be plenty of lore breaking moments by that point

Except that..

1). XIV WHMs have zero melee ability.
2). If you can't solo then how do you level, considering the first Dungeon is level 15 and the Duty Roulette isn't accessible until 16? Do nothing but stand around waiting for FATEs and spamming Guild Leves? lol.

The way we have it now is just fine, 'cept for some people whining about "OMG they have STONE and AERO!" By "some people" I mean, like, you. You're the one and only who has ever whined about that, that I know of.



They later added another ending that if you shoot the 'kid' or take too long to make your decision, OR you tell the thing to "f--- off", he shuts the whole crucible down, and the Reapers kill everybody. It is a 4th ending that was later added after the original 3 in a later patch in response to players saying they didn't like either of the other 3 endings. Basically the devs giving the middle finger to the playerbase.
