Hi again,

It's pretty abnormal for me to post on forums, much less create two threads in one week!

To the point, I'm having some connection issues when I'm in dungeons and other instances. For trials and the like, the lag starts out immediately, for 15-20 seconds at a time. I never disconnect, but of course this level of lag is negatively affecting my game play (to the point that I'm dead weight if I even try). In dungeons, the lag sometimes occurs on the bosses only, but it always occurs on the final boss. I'm not sure why that is, but it's been pretty consistent in that regard.

Probably related, but when I try to log into the game (on Ultros server), I seem to get the "World is full." message with only one person in queue. Again, this is happening pretty consistently (no other number appears). The only reason I've noticed it is because sometimes I get continually booted when I first start playing for the evening. Then everything in the non-instanced game seems to work just fine.

Is this a known issue? I've asked others when I'm in dungeons if they are having similar issues, but so far most people are just mute. I guess that's the nature of duty finder, though.

This coupled with the hotbar issue I posted about earlier is making it significantly more difficult for me to gather tomes and the like. It's not that I mind taking a break from that part of the game (have plenty more to do), I just wish I could stop annoying my friends when we try to do some primals.

Anyway, I thank you all in advance. Hopefully this is an isolated issue. Also, I'm on the PS3, so this might not be an issue for those on PS4 or PC (as I have found out from the few who have spoken up, albeit harshly, in duty finder).

The official forums have been alight with this issue for the last couple days or so.

Someone traced it back to a particular internet backbone (level3 I think) having a problem near its Montreal node... which is of course where the NA datacenter is located.

Ah. Thank you so much!

It's nice to know I'm not alone in this, but also terrible to know that several others are suffering this same issue.

Given the responses from this and my other thread, it would seem it would be in my best interest to frequent the official forums. I guess I never really transitioned from ZAM after spending so many years on it for FFXI.

I appreciate you taking the time. :)

I had a similar problem to this before, and i too blamed it on "It must be SE since i didnt change or install anything for weeks".

Tried everything i could think of, from checking if my ISP had any problems or maintenance up to the point of using a latency fix for FFXIV even. Kept being stuck with a weird 2-3 second delay on every action i took so i figured they would fix it at patch day. Patch day came and went and i still was troubled by it.

Turns out my ISP raised internet speeds, didnt require any maintenance or anything for it, just had to make you power down your modem and power it back up for the changes to take effect and not clash in some way.

And now with that fixed, as well as the latency fixer i used, i move faster than ever, even with never having had problems in the past with it @_@;

* sorry, early morning lack-of-coffee spelling/word choice edit *
