I havent played in many months and decided to come back to check things out. Anyone have a good guide or willing to explain the beast tribe dailies? Where should I go to get started and is there anything I should know? Thanks.

Step one: Approach the NPC of the beast tribe you want to do the quests for.
Step two: Do the quests.

Step Three: grind for several months to max reputation.

This and its annoying. Not to say its not worth it but if you are doing other things and have limited time, this is very annoying and tiresome to grind out. I personally do this for 4 or 5 days then take a break for a while, then come back. Again, they are worth doing but when you have other stuff you want/could do, this just seems like a nuisance. That's me anyway.

There are extra story missions, Hildibrand, ATMA Weapons, Dungeons that you could be doing also, so don't think Beast Quests is all we have left. Welcome back and enjoy the ever growing world.

I find them useful for levelling alternative jobs at 44 plus, and they're pretty good if you use your chocobo to fill their part in the challenge log.

This is pretty much how I level my Chocobo too. Picking up the occasional FATE in there isn't a bad idea either.

I actually enjoy the beast tribe quests, even with the repetition. I focus mainly on the Sylphs, though; I did find the Amaljaa ones quite annoying.

I'd suggest trying all the tribes to see what you like, and pick two of them to spread your 6 daily allowance at the first level (when you only get 3 each). As soon as you get one of them to level 2, and thus have two quest NPCs available, focus entirely on that tribe. You'll get better rewards at the higher levels, and putting all 6 dailies into one tribe advances you much faster.

I have trusted in all four current beast tribes and having done Sapsa last I can say that I believe that is the easiest one to do because for all three tiers of quests there are often ones that you can warp to right next to the quest givers. The most annoying ones I have done (did this second) are the Sylphlands ones as you have to travel far and you get quite a few 'run with an object and don't get seen' quests which can be quite annoying.
