Did it when it came out, worked perfectly for me. Cant really help you other than nitpick, and that wont really help.
Things like:
- Are you next to the npc?
- Are you in /say mode?
- Are you using a captital "W"?
- Are you using double "l' in Well?
- Are you using a space?
- Are you using an exclaimation mark !
- Are you semi-literate enough to type two words?
- Have you accepted the quest and have it active?
- Have you logged out, back in and moved around a little so your location is updated, just to check?
- Have you tried doing it from other places other than just inside the guy?
- Are you not currently in an active conversation chat bubble with him?
- Have him selected just by means of trying if that works?
- Disbanded the quest and re-accepted it?
- Have you, by way of being absolutely sure it's not your keyboard settings or your keys selected and copy/pasted the text he says to the letter and spoken it back to him?
I cant really help you, like i said, it worked perfectly for me, and i LOVE to see this implemented more. Not just for hidden little triggers inside the game you can find, but also mostly since it will be a hurdle for some people to take.
Having more of this in the game will make it impossible for anyone who isnt able to properly spell or use "You", "You are", "Your", "You're", "To", "Too" and "Two", or any other lazy typer who will switch words with numbers or single letters and think we still know what the heck they're talking about. And i'm all for that. "I c wut u dit tar m8"-like lines happen a little too much for comfort...
