I had already bought my retainers 5 Guerdon III each on Sunday, but didn't think of going that route. I put 2 into chest, 1 into gloves, 1 into pants and 1 into the sledgehammer. They are both fully geared up for Highland Exploration XIII and sending them out soon. So far the first 2 XIII ventures have netted me a minion and light steel plate. Unfortunately, I think the markets will be flooded soon, but for now I'll enjoy the extra income.

My fault, I had in my head that pants and boots had gathering capped very low.

It seems more now that the light steel plate is dropping off the gathering class retainers in the XIII missions. I have yet to see one on my arcanist or marauder. I'm getting taffeta cloth nearly 10% of my drops and the minion at 15% of my drops, and the rest is coeurl meat and hippogryph skins. My DoL retainer is limited to XII atm, because I am too dam lazy to gather the umbral rocks for even myself. Gathering puts me to sleep Smiley: tongue

And man oh man that extra income. Can't beat it.

No worries, I peeked at my mining gear to see what pieces would take gathering +5. I spent quite a bit on the orbs, but they have already paid for themselves^^
