Weapon Levels are as follows:

Relic Zodiac - Atma - Level 100
Relic Zodiac - Animus - Level 100
High Allagan - From BCII - Level 115
*Weathered ??? Weapon - Level 100
*Non-Weathered ??? Weapon - Level 110
Leviathan Hard - Weapon Level 95
Leviathan EX - Weapon Level 100

* Maybe AF2 quest through Gerolt has a weapon equivalent? Maybe crafted? No idea where you get these alternate items (gladiator has Burtgang, marauder has conqueror, etc)

I assume that the "Mossy Stone" Axe, Bow, Spear, or faded and weathered tomes etc have something to do with it. For instance the mossy stone spear says:

"A spear crafted from Giantsgall, a type of stone found on Thavnair. It is so covered in moss as to be rendered unusable. "

Apparantly Giantsgall Weapons are made from Mossy Item + 9 Diluted Vitriol. 1 diluted Vitriol is made with 6 vitriol + 9 filtered water by an alchemist. Thats 54 vitriol for one damn item. Watch, Vitriol will be rare as crap and cost 50k each =p

Terminus Putty is also needed for nearly all of the lvl 90 armor crafts. It is made by alchemist with 3x tawny latex and filtered water.

So finally, a use for alchemy.

Armor is as follows:

High Allagan - From BCII - Level 110
*Weathered ??? Gear- Level 100
*Non-Weathered ??? Gear - Level 110
**Level 70 Crafted Gear (Hussar's Googles, Magician's Hat, etc)
**Level 90 Crafted Gear (Gold spectacles, Wolfram Mask, Saurian Gloves, etc)

* Maybe these are the Gerolt Gear quest we have heard about (i.e. AF2, soldiery stone trade-ins). Exciting to see that apparantly these "weathered" items also have weapons associated... Maybe we can buy lvl 100-110 weapons with tomestones fo soldiery as well?)

** Looks like the crafted ilvl 90 equipment requires unique materials (i.e. Saurian Skin, Saurian Leather, etc) so we may have to drag these up from a dungeon (or a venture quest?) before we can get to making these pieces.

Crafting / Gathering Gear is as follows:

Artisan's Tool (Specific to Job) - Level 70
Artisan's Hat (looks like one size fits all craft jobs) - Level 70
Forger's Hat (looks like one size fits all gathering jobs) - Level 70

Perhaps I overlooked it, but I can not detect any other crafter ro gatherer gear that is level 70 other than the tool and the hat. I hope I'm overlooking something.

Note about Big Fishing:

All the buying up of legendary fish was useless! That's what I get for speculating. At least it ddin't cost me much. I'm going to keep them anyway, never know.

But apparantly big fishing is set up based on the Japanese lore that a single giant fish is supposed to be the protector of an individual body of water, and to catch this fish makes you a legend.

So in tradition, there is a "King of the XYZ" fish in every body of water. For instance, Glimmerscale is the king of the copperfish, found in Nophica's Wells. Mud Golem is the king of Mud Crab, found in the waters of the Footfalls.

Cool, but that doesn't give me anything other than pokemon incentive to catch them all. I was hoping for incentive. The market is driven by incentive. Oh well Smiley: glare

A theory on the weathered stuff:

Bought with the tomestones of soldiery (ilvl100).
Upgraded with unidentified tomestones (dropping from the new Coil) (ilvl110).

So basically you may get High Allagan as drops from Coil, and you also get unidentified tomestones you can use to upgrade your ilvl100 gear to ilvl110. No longer can you get to the highest ilvl by simply capping your tomestones every week.

Good ideas. I'm thinking that it might be through some quest requirement that you receive the mossy items needed to upgrade the weathered pieces. Maybe it is not coil associated, but instead fulfilled through other means.

I had read that there would be some stuff that can only be obtained through the Venture system. My guess is that that's where these unique crafting ingredients will come from.

Hehe looked at the items for big fishing and gardening. My proactive speculation was dead wrong. Stuck with a bunch of seeds and fish. At least it only cost me 50k max.

The Giantsgall weapons already exist in the game and are ilvl 70 (I have a complete set of them).

They were in version 1 of the game and awarded for a trial which was a series of battles against bosses fought on an island - I cant remember the name of it.

They are better than ifrit hm drops, and when materiad up probably better than garuda hm drops. You would have to Penta-meld them to get to the stats of a Titan HM wep (noting that ilvl does not scale with melding).
