Last weekend before patch Thursday! Any plans?

Here are mine:

- Get fisher from 42-50. Almost there.
- Level botanist from 18 to something that will allow me to gather seeds in 2.2.
- Continue to push Archer up from 34, conjurer up from 32, and pugilist up from 30. They are all I have left.
- Watch Walking Dead on Sunday.

- I'm capped so not much else to do. Looking forward to all this new stuff on Thursday.

Wow guys, I'm disappointed... No one has plans or goals? Smiley: dubious

First weekend of spring, and the first sunny weekend in awhile in the Pacific Northwest! That, and I just returned to my office to find my newly ordered trail running shoes waiting for me. So, gaming won't be a big priority for me this weekend.

That said, here are a couple of mini goals:

- Lancer to level 20.
- Cap myth so I'll almost be done with my bard relic upgrade.
- Try an extreme primal fight.

I know... light goals, but it's actually nice outside!!!

I hear that sending a tell to "Friggin Joe" or searching someone with the tag "ZAM" and clicking on the free company and filling out an application works pretty well.

Cool, thanks for the snark. Last 4 times I've searched there have been zero people on.

Yeah, that's weird... there's almost always one of us on :)

Cap Myth.

Get monkey pants or monkey belt from CT.

Die lots more times trying to get an i90 healing ring.

After going to Lamia, I randomly landed on Charlie and Joe in duty finder before in an AK run. You guys are everywhere.

Level Arc/Brd to 34 so I can finally have all the cross-skills for DoM that I can use.

I might work on Weaver or Botany... but I'm not sure.

I've already capped myth for this week, and got a CT loot so... I guess I'll spend time RP'ing in Limsa or something.

Back when I played WoW, I went in to every weekend with definitive goals and things I hoped to accomplish in mind. Threads like these make me realize my approach to FFXIV has been much more lackadaisical.

That said, I'd like to...

Shen:
- Clear T4, if not T5. Kin has a static, but he doesn't, meaning every week is a new adventure.
- Level THM to 15+
- Unlock CNJ and spend some time playing with a friend who's new to the game.
- Get a few kills on Garuda and Ifrit EX. Maybe even do Primal Focus.

Kin:
- Clear BC. We usually run early, but it's been a rough week for my group, so this is less of an eventuality than usual.
- Level ACN to at least 40.
- Get some sort of CT drop.
- Work a little on gathering. BTN, probably, as it's currently my highest.
- Kill Garuda EX a few times.

And this is less of a weekend goal, but at some point before 2.2, I want to cap Philo on both my characters. They're currently a little over halfway there.

Hmm I need to cap philosophy on two characters it seems. I'll level some classes on Hito Yu. I was thinking about making Hito Yu my WHM.

I was thinking of farming CT for the boots for my SMN and possibly BRD loot if it drops. Knocks out two birds with one stone.

Late but two goals this weekend:

1. Not get too hungover at the GA craft beer fest
2. Beat Garuda Extreme

Neither one is likely at this point. *hiccup*

Been slamming through Leatherworker. Got it from 20-40 this week.

Weekend goal 40-50 Leatherworker.

Been planning ahead by farming lots of Toads/Pieste/Raptor Hides

I know the weekend isn't over yet, but ended up finishing the first three turns of BC!

I'm just glad that I had some success in there before the patch.

I decided that I would rather just level Weaver than pay someone to do my melds for me, so I'm doing that. Up to level 25 so far. I'm also slowly driving myself insane trying to get Bard hat out of CT before they patch makes it irrelevant. I don't even have Bard at 50 yet (47 and counting) but I want the full set because of I'm just odd like that.

Don't really have any more "goals" in this game, more like seemingly insurmountable obstacles (Titan ex, coil t4) that I suspect will not get accomplished any time soon, and upcoming added stuff that will likely be even harder to beat so it might as well not even exist to me.

Last night:

Did some Haukke HM runs with my old FC dungeon grind team. We switched it up with our old tank MNKing, me tanking as WAR, the other SMN healing as SCH and our LS DRG who doesn't get much playtime because of her new job shift. It was a blast. This "core 4" is the basis for our first coil static that we're currently forming as well.

Got PUG from 11-14.

Tonight (Sunday):

PUG 14-15.
ARC-23-30 maybe and unlock BRD if I can stay awake.
Help our LS PLD cap his tomes so he can buy his last piece of Valor gear.

Didn't get hungover! But didn't even try Garuda Ex.

I did get Maurauder to 18, though.

That's pretty much it... other then that just organized my gear sets so they make more sense.

I didn't write anything on Friday, but here's what I WAS planning based on the time I knew I was going to have:

1. Get my Bard as close to level 50 as possible (as of Friday, it was level 47).
2. Hit Darkhold for the first time for a Twin Adder promotion quest.
3. Hit Qarn for the first time to get a couple Twin Adder hunting log entries.
4. Take care of a couple minor quests that have been on the back burner for a bit.
5. Do some in-game spring cleaning (organizing my inventory, selling off some old items, etc).

And the results:

1. Got to level 48. I'll continue to work on this, as always. My personal goal is to get to 50 before I hit story quest Titan for the first time. I know it doesn't actually make any difference since my level will be synced down, but I still want to do it.
2. Completed. It went very, very well, too. I used DF to get in, and the group was awesome! No one died (no one even came close), we got through it with ease, and I even got a spiffy new bow a lot better than the one I had.
3. Completed. It went well, too, especially after the first boss. Had a couple deaths on the first one, but once I found the rock I could stand on without getting hit by the Death status, things went swimmingly afterwards....Well, except for one little detail...I got the Temple Bees from the Twin Adder hunting log, but not the Temple Guardian for some reason (maybe because I died towards the end of the battle?).
4. Done.
5. Done, relatively speaking. :) When is in-game spring cleaning EVER truly done?

- Fisher successfully leveled to 50. Smiley: cool I found an amazing fishing spot in the Isles of Umbra (take ferry from Aleport) and use stealth right there by the wrecked pirate ship. Everything there gives you 3-5 k experience per catch and the hq stuff gives 15k!! Smiley: eek I leveled those 8 levels this weekend, and only four of them were from turning in leves. I am ready for the 2.2 big fishing! I bought every fish with "giant" or "legendary" in the title or text that was on the market for less than 1k. I will profit from 2.2.

- Botanist successfully leveled to 20, which is coincidentally the level required to gather three seed types. The other two are dungeon based. I spent some time gathering, and I have promptly bought every seedling on Lamia that wasn't tied down. Again, I will profit from 2.2. Smiley: grin

- Archer stayed at 34, and pugilist stayed at 30. I used my dailies on the conjurer and pushed him from 32-36. Smiley: grin Got stoneskin and regen, good stuff.

- Walking dead was awesome. Only one episode left this season Smiley: frown

HOUSE! The medium lot we want in Mist is down to 14 million pre-patch. (It's across the street from Era's house, right by the beach.)

If you get 10 million from your fish we can do it. Smiley: sly

Powered through the last couple levels on BRD, and then ran through the Relic quest to the primal fights before calling it quits for the weekend. My gear is level 78, so the fights are much easier than they were the first time I did them. I'll probably wait until after the patch to finish the quest, that way I won't have to use tomes to get the oil.
