New; Looking for friendly assistanceFollow

Hello! Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong forum. ><
Anyways, I was just looking for someone who'd be willing to share a little info about the game with me. Maybe some tips? I did play a little during beta, but mostly for fun only. I didn't really learn much outside of solo play. I'm by no means good at party play as I didn't do any dungeons. I know the basic role of each class, but not well enough to go on a dungeon run and know exactly what to do. I'm probably going to be one off those people that will make mistakes and get yelled at for it. It happens. I am willing to learn everything on my own, however. >.>
I just figured I'd ask for any advice or tips when it comes to being a new player on this game. Thanks in advance!

If it helps, I'll probably be starting as either a thamaturge(sp?) or a conjurer. Oh, and I will be buying the game this weekend. ^-^

Honestly, just play the game. The in-game tips and tutorials are pretty robust. Take a bit of time to read each one and you'll have a good start on anything new that comes up.

Having said that, as a Thaumaturge or a Conjurer, leveling up Arcanist a bit will give you a few extra tools to work with that can be very helpful. But you won't be able to do that right away. Don't worry; the game really helps new players get acclimated.

@Viertel
FINALLY! Someone makes the connection. Been using this screen name since Ni no Kuni came out and nobody has realized where it's from. =P

Thanks for the info, Quor. I feel a bit better now knowing that there's helpful tuts and tips. The brief time I spent with the beta I kinda just skipped everything with the intention of leaving mostly everything fresh when I got the game. But, the release came and went and I was too preoccupied with other things to pick up the game. Thanks again!

No prob Moo. Once you get into the swing of things you'll be back with more questions I'm sure. Ideal cross class skills, best zones for leveling, the sorta stuff that isn't covered via in-game help.
