Man did I feel like a horse's ***Follow

So I was in Quarrymill last night working on the main quest, and I decided it would be a good time to use up some of the numerous tier 1 materia I've made out of old gear pieces. So I shouted for a melder to put the materia in my gladiator's armor and finally found one. He came over, and try as we might, we could not get the meld to work. Now your first thought may be, "But Bigdaddyjug, did you have the required catalyst?" And to that I would answer, "Why yes, yes I did because somebody else in QM was kind enough to give me 15 level 1 carbonized matter for free." So then I thought, well maybe I need to do the quest to learn how to meld myself before I can have somebody else meld for me. So I warped over to Black Brush Station and hoofed it to The Bonfire. Oops! You can't take the quest to learn how to meld until you have a level 19 DoL class other than CLN. I apologized to the kind melder who was going to do something like 15 melds for free and told him thanks for the attempts and went on my way questing.

About an hour later, it hit me. The entire time I had been trying to have an ARM meld materia...into my Iron Spatha. D'OH!!!!!

That's the ******* Poisoning starting to shut down your organs. Pay it no mind.
