Weaver lvl 40-50 helpFollow

Hi there

Currently, I'm lvling weaver (lvl 39) crafting woolen yarn/undyed woolen cloth, but,
If i look my next recipes lvl 40-50, I really don't know what to craft next. I'm thinking in crafting undyed felt, but, that's super expensive and does not even sell well in the market...considering using HQ items via leves, but, EACH HQ item goes from 6k up to 12k, depending on what lvl 40-45 leve I choose. If we take in consideration that I need 3-5 items x3-x5
per leve, that is totally out of control. Which recipes do you guys recommend for me to get up to 50?

I believe I crafted the Linen Deerstalkers for the 3x leve from 38-47. Then I did couple of the Woolen Deerstalkers leve to take me to 50.
Weaver was by far the most expensive class to level for me. Spent 600k, but leveled to 50 in about 12 hours of play time.

I did the triple turn in HQ Linen Deerstalker as well. I gathered about 8 stacks of flax and did the level 20 levequests in Quarrymill to get a few stacks of diremite web. At level 49 I made all the items for all the class quests, including the level 50 class quest and then finished up to 50 by doing the level 45 courier levequest, HQ Felt Chausses a couple of times. Weaver was my first level 50 class and I didn't think it was bad at all, but I bought very little from the market boards and overall made a ton of gil leveling it up.

Yeah flax was pretty cheap when I leveled weaver 40-50. Believe I went the linen hat route. You should look at leves that require you to make linen things.

Just a quick warning, if you plan on using triple turn in linen items for 40-50, be aware that you're gonna run through a ton of lightning shards, so budget accordingly.

Some quick calculations put it around 2.5-3k shards for the deerstalker and ~4k for the tights.

4.125m XP from 40-50

(4.125m / Per item xp ) * Shards per synth = total shards:

Tights: (4125k / 23.9k) * 27 = 4660
Deerstalker: (4125k / 32k) * 26 = 3328

Of course you'll get a good chunk xp from the crafting, which will lower the shard requirement from the exact totals above.

Edit: After some thought it may be closer to 2k and 3k shards for the two items.

If shard saving is a concern, it's really helpful to grab any leve -- same or lower level -- that gives a boosted (lightning) shard reward.

Basically the item reward results are this:

- Low number of shards
- multiple amount of level appropriate (to the leve) crafting component (web, flax, fleece, etc)
- high number of shards

Also the tradeskill leves you get in the field (Scorpion's Crossing, Horizon, Camp Drybone, Quarrymill, Costa del Sol, Observatorium, Whitebrim, Mor Dhona) have a boosted reward rate (more shards/items) for the first two rewards. (I think the high number of shards reward is still the same either way.) But the range for the high number of shard rewards is from ~30-60, tiered as appropriate from level 1 to level 45.

I recently ran Weaver 41 → 50. First thing I did was farm up about 30-35 Surble Tufts and Fleece - I actually found that the 6 Karakul that spawn East of the Observatory are not farmed as often as the other two spawns so I got some decent farming in. I then turned all those Tufts and Fleece into Undyed Felt (using an XP Scroll) which took me well into level 42 and I then used the undyed felt to make Linen Deerstalkers and completed that triple leve three times. That got me up near 45 so I cheated a little and did the Felt Chausses leve in Mor Dhona 7 or 8 times for 150k XP and I think I made some Woolen Deerstalkers too.

The Felt Chausses leve rewarded me 4 Tattered Robes that I made into HQ Vintage Robes and sold for 50k which made up for any expense occurred for crystals/dew thread etc.

I have to agree with you here, I hover at over 90+ levequests and from an items point of view it takes far less to repeatedly do one. Especially since the one offs usually use far less items.
I farm fleece and buy snurble tufts (by the way there are far more camps for fleece than have been quoted - I use one up a mountain with 6 mobs that no-one ever goes to - unless they see the FATE that pops there) but I still think felt and wool are a pain!
Not as much as velveteen mind you - although RMT/bots seem to have eased their monopolising grip there.
My weaver is currently 45 and I'm in no rush to get to 50 on any of my crafts - my main activity is doing GC requests unless I'm near a *5 level (within 2 levels) when I will use levequests to get it there.
