Honestly watch videos on youtube it is a great way to learn the fights. I usually watch several for each fight or dungeon.
It also helps to be at cap for the fights.

I agree, I actually did watch a few videos before asking here... but my groups kept dying when Garuda used Arial Blast before going into phase 2... which is kind of why I asked here.

Either way I am past it now thanks to my AWESOME FREE COMPANY!!!

Congrtaz... Since we are in the same LS dont hesitate to ask for help, always willing to help I did Garuda last week.. I am still in story mode and so is Tesee... We are at the next dungeon after the garuda fight. The one with 8 people.. Maybe we can do it together, also I believe Xando in the ls is at that point.. We can help each other out..

We just finished Garuda last night, then got past the solo fight a few quests later, but we're not quite at the dungeon yet.

You guys don't need to wait on us or anything, but if you are still on that when we get to that point then sure!

If you guys need help with stuff and could use a geared DRG, you can hit me up as well. In-game is Iwent Toofar. I'm on most nights and have a couple days per week that I'm not really doing anything except crafting or running tomes.

Tomorrow night is storyline progression night, so if you guys all get to a dungeon/battle, let us know and we can run it with you. I think Cape Westwind is the next one you need. Or was there one before that? Either way, sign up on the forums and post what you want to run and we'll get it done. Smiley: nod

Cool thanks, we're not quite at the next one yet... we have a lot of things we do in real life that limits our playtime. I'm not even sure if we'll be on tonight due to a RL obligation, if we are it won't be until later in the evening (after 10 or 11 Eastern)... don't wait for us, just run that stuff and we'll get to it eventually.

Crafting has been a godsend for me because I don't have the time to dedicate to this game like I did in FFXI, and it's actually fun too!

Beat the cape last night we need:
Rock the castrum
Castrum Meridianum
And if possible the next dungeon fight too if there is time.. There is only one cut scene in between and I believe xando is on this one.
Tesee leaves on Sunday for a week or so and we are trying to push to get her too the end of story mode before she leaves.
Bartel thanks for the help last week..

Sorry I've missed the last few, and will miss again tonight. I've had extended family from out of town and unmatched spouse aggro lately. So mainly crafting at 2am right now lol

Same has happened here.. Winter should give us a little more time.. I was looking forward to this game because it didn't require the time FFXI does but it still requires a good chunk even still.. As long as new players keep coming in and people are willing to help we are ok.. Again if you need help I dont mind helping out even if I have done it just send me a tell...

Not sure if it was mentioned, but if you stack on the pillars, they will definitely fall, if you are back a bit from them they wont. I.E. Don't stack on top of them, back up a bit ^^

Grats on beating Garuda Hairspray! Cape Westwind fight is cake and then you have around ten really annoying little run around quests before Castrum and Praetorium, and the CS there are really worth it!

Didn't see it mentioned here, but for Garuda when she pops to the middle of the room (second time/50% healthish) where it usually one-shots everyone, if a Tank uses a lvl 1 or 2 limit break, everyone will survive and you can continue the fight. After that, I think it's just being behind her when she channels and at the opposite end of the room when she channels in her whirlwind.

Not true, everyone will survive IF
A) they have enough hp
B) enough rocks are left

The more rocks left = the less dmg it does
Even with rocks left, if you have an under geared person in lvl 30 gear, they still might die due to lack of hp
