I updated the ffxivapp and now the parser resets the parser data after a few seconds, this was a good idea why? how do i turn this off?

I realized the issue isnt that it doesnt reset, the data just vanishes in between atatcks so i have to deal damage everytime i want to see the data, which is still annoying.

nevermind i was right the first time. yeah, this thing is all kinds of annoying. I don't think the devs took castign time sinto consideration when they thought this up since it seems to stay up when i autoattack. but i wont be doing that on blm so its just useless now.

Good idea because a had a few hundred people saying I don't have event separation :) I'll add a checkbox to enabled/disabled it; but for now just set the timer to be like 60000 (ms) which is 60 seconds. If you don't do anything for 60 seconds it will reset.

In a party situation that times you are doing nothing for 3-4 seconds is few and far between. You can use the timer interval option however.

Like Final Fantasy XI, the game specs will be extremely high for the time, but in about 5 years, an average machine can run it on max settings with little to no issues. Tanaka also expressed interest in making a benchmark program available.

There was a bug too where it would fire off even if you were attacking on occasion; from some testing over VNC it appears to be fixed :) default is 5 seconds + the 1.5 second timer for fightining, so all in all you should have 7 seconds between resets by default.

Takes me about four seconds to cold cast Fire III without the massive spell speed boost I used to get at lower levels. Once I get into my rotation however it is 1 - 2 seconds max.

I noticed you added a bunch of the old labels back and now total % damage is on the far right.

But what's worse is that I can't actually scroll all the way to the right to move total % until someone has performed an action and shows up in the parse. This allows me to finally move the row bar to go all the way to the right.

Where are these logs being exported? Or is the parse just cleared entirely? It'd probably be a good idea to make this auto clear option off by default. Many people like to examine parses after a boss fight which makes it kind of hard to do if it has disappeared entirely. If it's being logged and stored in a different location, that's another story!

As long as you don't close the application it's stored in the history tab inside the parser. Total % is moving to the left again; just working on some other updates and such. YOu can also turn the reset feature off if you prefer in settings :)

Oh awesome! Didn't know it was memory-based. Good news about the total %!

I don't think I'll be needing to turn the reset off as long as I can access the logs at a later time. I like this feature, actually, over something like Logrep's system. It can be quite confusing to read since it simply analyzes everything in your combat log and posts it. Talk about spam.
