Final Heaven is the Level 3 limit break. To get a level 3 limit break you have to be in a full party of 8 people and fighting a boss.

Final Heaven is a level 3 Melee DPS LB. Requires 8 man party and final boss of dungeon.

So here is my beef. Duomaxwell posts the laziest and dumbest questions, yet he isnt silenced from this forum. I have had all my posts nuked because of fanboys not understanding this simple concept, do not feed the trolls.

Either he is retarded or he is trolling this noob forum for laughs. Either way the stuff he asks is so basic its ridiculous. So once again i am sure i will be silenced by the moderators but cmon guys. Tell this moron to stop trolling or to at least try to answer some of the basic stuff, perhaps see if there is 15 pages of answers for his specific "new thread" the stuff he asks has already been beaten to death. If he ACTUALLY wanted the info, its there. He just wants our attention. Thanks

I'll take "lazy and dumb questions" over troll posts like these any day.

Here's a question, is a 2.5 level LB the same as lvl 2 LB?

I'm going to go out on a limb (assuming this is a legitimate question) and say that yes, a lvl 2.5LB is the same as a lvl 2. When you use it, you still trigger the same LB, and the leftover 0.5LB is not used up (you are halway to unlocking a lvl 1LB).

Edit: Nevermind.

Another question on the subject. Does any abilities affect LB damage for DPS?

Like Berserk, for instance.

So far, Life Surge doesn't seem to do anything to the LB. Can it even crit or is it solid damage?

(Edit to add: Yes, I realize that Berserk is Warrior only, which has a defensive LB. That was just the first ability that came to mind.)

I've never seen a limit break crit... though I do pop Internal Release right before hitting it, because eternal optimism.

I can tell you that LBs don't seem to be affected by the Twin Snakes buff which is a flat damage boost.

You are correct that a 2.5 LB will trigger a L2 LB and the extra 0.5 will not boost the damage. The 0.5 however does not carry forward and is lost.

nope i did my complaining on day one back when it was announced that all DPS,, healers and tanks would have the same LB instead of LBs being unique and class/job specific... so the point of THIS thread was to find out when id SEE these LBs that were shown back when LBs were announced tyvm

Oh wow! That actually answers one of my questions.
I always wondered whether it made any difference whether the relic DRG hit the button or the aetherial weapon monk!

For a while, perhaps. But virtually all the lazy and dumb questions this guy keeps asking are answered either in the manual,
or the online documentation of the game mechanics. And also in virtually all cases, once provided with a decent and polite
answer highlighting the reasons for those mechanics, he will rant about how those mechanics are lame, and about how he
would do much better when tasked with the solution of a similar problem. Like, 1000% better.

No, not just for a while. Trolling under the guise of self-policing the forums is still trolling. There are other ways to self-police the forums. Rate down, don't reply, and move on. Or don't rate down and simply move on. Or don't even bother opening the OP.

yeah i used to just assume it was based on the person using it but nope. also, between DRG and MNK, DRG should be LBing so MNK doesn't lose GL!

Ah, yes I remember reading this, but later forgot. Thank you!

I saw a BLM (with 3700 HP) use LB3 on the nails at Ifrit, and the damage left them at about 1% HP. I thought this was because of HIS awesome gear, but of course that's not it, or rather only the +1 weapon counted. That WHOLE PARTY had nice weapons. Totally explains the massive damage.
