(WIP) ARRFishing DoL SiteFollow

I have a database site I'm working on that is primarily fishing-specific where the aim is to put all the relevant fishing info out there into one searchable database. The current database is pretty complete, and most of the work being put into it now is linking elements via actively fishing (e.g. Spinnerbait can catch a certain type of fish). Along with bait, fish, fishing holes, and leves listings, I'm working to link associated recipes & grand company provisioning as well so that all fish that have a use will be easily identified as such.

I'm constantly working on it and new features (big and small) will be added constantly. There's a forum & commenting system, and I'm always looking for feedback or additional information to add to the site. Smiley: wink

Yay Very nice Site. Keep up and thank you very much for all the work.

Only missed a guide for leveling. I figured out, you can browse through spots and can see which level they are, but wouldnt know pros or cons for leveling.

Very nice feature with maps. After searching for a fish, you can click the region and a map appears. I like that a lot.

Twitter tweets is a nice feature, but somehow doesnt fit in the style of the page, id say. What do others think?

have a good fishing day,
proto

Very nice work and bookmarked. My only complaint, and it's probably because my eyes are getting worse and worse as I get older, is that for me it's hard to read that font with a slight grey tint background because it looks as though it's bleeding onto the background. (Again, this is nothing that's your fault but extensive looking at the site would give me a headache).

Getting old sucks.

I tend not to favor black text on white backgrounds, myself (in fact, I favor the opposite), but this seems more legible than, say, the recent renovation of the FFXI OF. At the very least, you could hit ctrl+ to blow up the text size a bit. Or as much as you want to avoid that bleed effect, really.

Fishing guide how to level up: go to the zone that corresponds to your level, purchase bait from said zone, fish. It really is that simple. Sprinkle in a few 3x leves, and you will be 50 in no time. No guide required. You just need to look at the map.

I plan to add the option of a dark theme which can be set in your user profile. I'll try to scale back on the use of text shadows to make the site a little more friendly for those with any kind of eye problem...I never considered that in the sites design. Thanks for the feedback ^.^
