Ok, so there's this little casting (action in progress?) bar that pops up over our party member's names in the party list whenever they cast a spell, and it's very distracting for me. As a healer all I want to see in my party list is my party member's names & HP bars, nothing else.
Does anyone know how to stop those annoying whatever-they-happen-to-be-casting bars from showing up in our party list windows?

so I'm not seeing this setting. I never notice this issue, and the only thing I can find that might be the reason:
Character Config > Character Tab > Battle Effect settings, Party, Show limited.

Just tried that, the casting bars still pop up.

I'm not sure it's possible to remove those.
You may have to wait for addons to get a different party frame that you can customize better.
