Weekend Accomplishment Thread (Oct 28)Follow

Got past, garuda HM, and even got the weapon, then fell flat on titan HM, all weekend. I did get fishing up to 42 tho, got accused of botting during the process which is funny. Other than that not very productive on the relic front, maybe this week will be better.

Where to begin...

First I had a bit longer of a "weekend" then most, we took Thursday and Friday off to do some Fall "Spring Cleaning" at our household, and took some time to play FFXIV too.

I got Miner to 50 and started mining Gold and Darksteel Ores (and since I have Goldsmith and Armorer both at 50 already I craft those into Nuggets for bigger payout.)

Took Leatherworker from 20-33, getting ready to run it to 50 this week so I can make pretty much every piece of armor between me and Crystal Light (She's got Weaver and Botanist at 50).

Not much else really, got Dragoon to 41... slow progression on the battle classes, been mostly crafting/gathering. Not to mention with all the drama I keep reading about as far as end-game gearing I'm in no rush really.

I finished my DL grind on my BLM this weekend so that made me happy. Now full DL with allagan head piece (using demagogue robe with the head piece) and my relic. Two more weeks and i get relic +1 =)

Got lucky and hit that 10% off of my lvl 55 spiritbonded craft gear and got a few IV Materia.
Sold the IVs for a hefty profit, also made a bunch of rings and sold them (in turn spiritbonding more items).

Took cooking from lvl 15-37. Took GLD from 28-30 and got PAL stone. Leveled archer 15-16.

Payed 310k out of pocket and bought a Vanya robe for my BLM. Dyed it purple to match my +1 stick.
Quint melded the robe with crit hit (in a III, III, II, I I order because I am cheap)

Payed 350k out of pocket and bought a Vanya hat for my BLM. Dyed it purple to match my +1 stick, then hid it because my relic sticks through it all unrealistically.
Quint melded the hat, first with a Determination III mat, but botched it because I didn't realize the Determination skill was capped. >< Since I was already screwed, and I know in a week or two i'm getting the AF2 hat first, I decided to experiment with spell speed. Since I dropped my gear with spell speed in favor of Det and Crit items, I have noticed that while I crit often and my astral fire III hits for 1k+, I am casting at turtle speed. Pisses me off really. Like mad at demon wall because my first fire III takes 15 seconds slow. I dropped another Crit Hit III in the second slot, but I put a spell speed II and two I's on the 3rd - 5th slots in the hat and now with the +8 my casting is still slow, but bearable.

Downed ADS and picked up the Allagan caster's Gloves. Yaay Rot!
Hopped and dodged my way through Turn 3
Learned the ropes fo turn IV and got to last phase several times.

I need one or two more AF2 and a few more allagan pieces and I'm all set for the dreadnoughts.

Started working on My Relic, Killed 220 beastmen to spiritbond some gear so I could get the Materia I needed
beat Chimera 1st run , AK first run, Hydra 10x run lol, Ifrit again 1st run, Garuda 2nd run only because 1st party hauled *** like punks and Tried Titan ALOT
WVR is 50 so got all the rest except CUL and CRP to 15, ill do other 2 later this week

and Did alot of lower dungeons to help FC pp not too bad of a weekend

Yeah.

Was a slower week(end) for me due to RL being what it is. Some frustrations try to sell crafted goods while doing the price tweak tango. Capped my tomes, at least, and snagged a couple levels in weaver to both spend some leves and get that a bit higher. Need to best decide how I want to push from 40-50 there, but farming lightning shards is most definitely my future. Blah.

I heard that someone beat it. Apparantly the Axe dropped. Not sure what server. Caster gloves dropped off of ADS for me. My first piece. It made me happy. Good luck this week on your drops Hitome!

Leveled BLM from 30 to 34. Helped wife TRY to do Brayflox's Longstop. Got crappy parties though. Not much else done.

My first two WP runs were wins. Sloppy but wins. Was all set to run WP all day Saturday after that but while waiting for DF I fished a river.... rest of the day before company arriving was spend hopping every zone location looking for places to fish.

Hopefully I'll get in several more WP runs tomorrow before I leave off for my New Orleans Halloween vacation! Can't wait!
