Highlights:

An issue wherein players were not weakened after getting raised. (i told you so)
An issue wherein the target rings and area-of-effect predictors did not display under certain circumstances. (coil boss)

Doesnt really list anything useful about fleece or diremites or the exp to gatherers

- Walnut bread is no longer sold by the Shopkeep NPC located in Eastern Thanalan - Drybone (X:13, Y:24).

I guess this is because it's a triple leve turn in item?

Unused gear will be bound to a character after engaging in battle, crafting, or gathering even once, regardless of item level.

I'd assume that means gear that is equipped... or at least I hope it does.

Possibly the best surprise, and the best thing in this hotfix.

Edit: English speak I do

If it's equipped it already does that. It either means:
1. The activity level difference will no longer matter and the gear will instantly bind, i.e. doing low-level hunting log kills at level 40 or whatnot.
2. The illogical option: Gear in your inventory will now instantly bond regardless of usability or being equipped.

The wording of SE's statement makes me believe it's the first, but who knows.

currrently gear only bonds with you when it gains spirit bond. Since you can't spirit bond iLevel 70 gear, it never bonds with you.

Are you sure it's as much as 50%, that seems very high? That means I'd be getting roughly 4k XP per standard node in Upper La Noscea mining Electrum @ level 44.

That's why I wrote #1. That's just one example I used for those who don't run around in Vanya.

They fixed the "standing on a tree branch" glitch in AKs first boss to tank the adds.

Also they fixed casting medica to nullify weakness when someone is raised.

Yay! Now I won't get pressured / scoffed at when I say I don't want to use glitches.

I just did 2 lvl 20 leves at Quarry mill with no rested xp on a 6 hit point I got 1571 per point/node and since both leve were the same thing basically 0/40 6 hits comes out to about 6 1/2 nodes hits went 214,224,235,256,321,321 = 1,571 x6 = 9,426 x2 =18,852 plus another 18k+ from the xp given for finishing the leves, so 2 leves got me 37k+ I didnt add in the amount for 1/2 node which 673x2 I don't remember what it was before but maybe this will help atleast at lv 22 4 of theses leve give about 74-75k and I only need 79800 to lv doesn't seem to bad to me

This combined with the fact that you can now perform pet actions while casting abilities makes Arcanist/Scholar/Summoner so much more enjoyable to play.
#22REDACTED, Posted: Oct 15 2013 at 8:50 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) It's SE, so it might mean bind it all to you. So you cannot sell it to any other people. RMT and linkshells do it for profit.

That was my option, I was just hoping that they were not saying that, say, everything in your armory chest binds like that. That's the only other idea I could foresee that detailing, but that made no sense. I just figured that even if you don't get spiritbind points, it still binds to you. Likely due to some exploit/glitch.

But according to people you also need to kill all mobs to open doors since they remove all the switches. Which isn't so bad now that mobs drop some gil, like >1 gil.
#26 Oct 15 2013 at 4:32 PM Rating: Decent
You don't have to kill all mobs, just tonberries from what I saw. The tonberries drop some item (forgot name) that is used for the rusty switches. This morning we def didn't kill all mobs between the first and second boss and were able to open the door.

Our clear times were right at about 30 minutes give or take. Nothing spectacular for those that did speed runs in AK, but probably better than a non-speed run AK group. And you don't really need great gear to achieve those times in WP. My group had a relic war and a couple of decent, but not insane dps.
