It's definitely on Ultros and would like to assume that this is the case for all servers. Nothing wrong with people setting conditions for the runs they are making. Don't like it, then you can always make your own and run them. In time you will be where they are and want conditions so you can get through w/e it is faster.

hmm I see, but think you misunderstood my question perhaps I was not clear enough. I understand you cannot do ak speed runs in af, But starting end game content is that really necessary? I mean I am not ******** I know some people will always want people with ifrits weapon for ifrit runs, but I am asking should I look for maybe a larger FC for more people at my level? or are some worlds more noob friendly by nature? I mean I understand its a mmo I have played many, just looking for maybe a hope of IDK a friendly server lol I know wishful thinking.

It seems worse than it is, mainly because people who are requiring full DL + Relic for Titan can't fill their runs, so they sit spamming for much longer than the guy looking for decent players willing to die once or twice for a quick kill. If it gets too bad, there's always DF, and even they're starting to show some success on Titan now, so you should be fine if you're skilled enough.

Not to sound elitest - because I do not think I am- but those who arrange and pre-screen their party members rather than filling spots may sound elite and take twice as long to get the party started- But once the party is off the ground they are also more likely to clear the run faster and without having to swap out those who can't perform. Accepting any player you don't know provides some type of risk in party creating- if you are requesting people who have cleared the content before and spent time gearing up their characters you may come out sounding like l33t- but truly are maximizing your time. And that's what it is- your time to play and do what you want.

Learning runs is tough- it's that Catch 22 of "Can't get a job without experience- can't get experience without a job". Luckily you have Duty Finder- if you aren't forming your own party you should leave expectations at the door when you hit "register for duty". As others have said you can also shout for learning groups or story mode groups just as easily has the guy who shouts for veterans. I'd suggest making friends that are not fully geared and want to invest time in gearing up so you travel your end game path together.

Speed runs are a particular type of animal and generally those who are asking for extremely over geared players are looking for runs that fit into a specific style. That's their prerogative and nobody is implying that lesser geared people can't even complete the run, we're past "completing" something. Some signs of what a "speed run" should look like, taking AK for example: First boss, dead before large golem gets third AOE off; Second boss, ignoring bees completely if spawned and dead before bees spawn or 1-5 seconds after they spawn; Third boss, dead shortly after second add pops. Those aren't indicative of perfectly executed speed runs but your average speed run. If you're well short of that mark in your group, you aren't quite there yet. Garuda follows some of the same model. If you're ignoring the feathers entirely throughout the first phase and killing her in and around when the second set of sisters pops, that's ballpark for a speed run. These are some of the things people are expecting of those they invite for speed runs and why they are hesitant to invite those who fall below a certain mark in terms of gear. It's a numbers game when completion has long since stopped being the goal, nothing more.

If the person attempting a speed run uses DF and complains they're not very bright because DF is a classic case of "beggars can't be choosers". You get whatever you get and you better like it because you walked into it knowing full well what you were doing. If you DF your expectations should be set to exactly nothing, anything else is a good day. Shouldn't get mad at DF for being what it is, it's actually convenient and helpful when and where it's needed. That's just complaining for the sake of complaining at that point.

Unless it's a new server with new players only at this point (even though it hasn't been that long for the new only servers) I doubt there is a specific glut of "new endgame player friendly" people on any one server. Best bet is the other route of finding an FC that fits the bill on any given server. I would be suspicious of any one server being labelled super elitist or super new player friendly other than in a very anecdotal fashion.
