The weekend accomplishment thread (Sept 27-19)Follow

I now have every class to at least 15.
I have Min and Bot to 19 and have actually turned a profit despite gearing this and other jobs.

It's actually quite fun doing gathering. Makes the game nice and chill.

Not as much as I was hoping as it was my fiancée's birthday, but....

Miner 20-27
Botanist 1-20 (for shard skills)
Made an iLVL 55 set of HQ gear for my PLD using my lvl 50 armorer (better than AF and has my name on it :-D).

Besides that, not a lot, myself and a small group from FFXI are doing the story dungeons and bosses as a static, and my brother (our main healer >.>) is on holiday until Friday lol.

I got Archer to 30 and Pugilist to 15, and then did quests to become a Bard. Yay!!!

I also joined the same character with a FC called Diamond Dust on Hyperion (totally different and separate from the one(s) on any other server). Great, friendly group of people. Lots of RL married couples, so makes it nice for a newlywed like myself. I shall enjoy it.

This week? I shall work on crafting and gathering classes. Also, I wish to create a character on Ultros and join The Kraken Club there.

did a lot of farming for web and aldgoat skins was fun because RMT had teleporting bot at the Diremites and after I figured out the spawn times I beat the bot to alot of places and if the bot won I got hate off the mob and pulled it away causing the bot to just sit there and warp again lol then turning mob back and I get kill lol goats were easier alot more of them

I became a "Coke" dealer.

WHM from 35 to 39.
Helped wife beat Titan..Went as my 24 THM.

That was about it. Seeing now that grinding is ssssllllloooowwwwing down. Typical SE game..lol

Got weaver to 50
Got miner from 8 to 21.
Made a little money on rings
Got some more tomes, got my last needed ak drop (the pants)
Watched more of the FC beat titan while I had bad luck / timing with PUGs.

Realized a few things about titan:
1. If you move after every cast, you can dodge plumes (especially effective after heart).
2. A tank with a <se.7> macro warning about plume timing is my hero.
3. Standing in a straight line behind titan after the 1st heart phase and strafing left to right when the plumes drop is only effective if everyone does it.
4. 9 times out of 10 I am the last one standing.

Finally got my first level 50: PLD!

Cleared CM, Praetorium, did a few AK runs. End game doesn't seem nearly as "toxic" as I've heard, people were generally very understanding and helpful (learned a lot! I think I could tank AK in my sleep now).

Maybe most importantly... dug up my old Zam account and posted on these forums for the first time since I quit XI years ago ^_^

BOT a level or 2, only to gather mats for WVR.
WVR to 27.

Best accomplishment was to actually get ahold of a GM concerning a farming bot while i was gathering Dire webs, as shown in the thread 'a small victory'

Great way to end a weekend. XD

I actually thought going 30-35 with Miner on Mythril Ores was really fast in comparison to 25-30! 35-36 seems to be taking an eternity though...

*Raised Conjurer to 20, Miner to 12 (reporting a bot buried halfway into the ground), Armorer to 7, and Gladiator to 9.

*Finished the main story.

*Farmed Apkallu Eggs while waiting for Duty Finder groups.

*Cleared Wanderer's Palace despite a few cheap wipeouts to that Giant Bavarois.

*Cleared Hard Mode Ifrit and received his Grimoire as payment for the 3 knockouts I took.

Are you guys using leves at all? I did mining 1-20 pretty easily over fri-sat with about 15 20 leves. I am capped on leves atm tho so i am not worried about saving them all for crafting class. If you are using leves does it slow down that much?
