So Francel (Rose and Unicorn) has been bugged all weekend, so anyone trying to complete the storyline quest hits a brick wall here.
Maybe a sidequest NPC going bugged for a few days I can understand....but....this is lame. Has anyone heard anything about upcoming maintenance for this?

How, exactly, do you hypothesize that it was bugged?
I used to care about my sig. Then I got mocked and butt-hurt. I shall commence with the self-pity now.
It is bugged, I know 3 people from other FCs that can't get through it, the NPC that is supposed to talk to you doesn't advance the quest at all.
It is bugged for several people (including me) on Ultros. Francel will not respond on the level 38 main story quest "The Final Flight of the Enterprise" and will not move the story forward. There is a couple of threads on this in the bug section on the Lodestone.

So I seen this just now that ppl are having problems with this story quest. But just yesterday I did this unknowingly that there was a bug and I still made it through further multiple story line quests all the way to "In pursuit of the past" I'm not sure how I was able to continue but I did. I'm on the Exodus server and it a also working for others since I would see ppl doing the same quests as me, so not sure if it's server specific or what.

I think it's only bugged on Ultros.

Very much bugged, and on at least 2 servers according to the official forums. Incredibly frustrating, but at least there are other things to do while we wait for SE to wake up and realize that this is broken (seriously, not a single peep from anyone from SE and this has been bugged for 4 days now). It's well known that SE doesn't seem to know what "customer support" is, but this is pathetic. Were it a side quest, whatever, but I cannot play my PLD until this is fixed.

They're doing zone specific maint right now to fix it, hope it works for you guys
