Plans for ARR?Follow
For those who played in 1.0.....Do you plan on rerolling or continuing on with your current character? Curious on what the majority plan to do since it may sway my decision...
I fully intended to play with my legacy character. I have all jobs at 50 except Culinarian which is 46. I did not "powerlevel" or cheat in version 1.0 and worked damn hard to get my levels up over 2 years.
At the start of Beta 4, I could not access JP servers (where my legacy character was - Masamune) so I started a new character on Ultros.
Loved the game so much that I decided to play it as I think it was intended, from the start to experience it all with fresh eyes and a new community who are not jaded like the legacy community is.
I suspect I will still logon to my legacy character now and then and will probably play both but my main will be my new character.

I liked the position my 1.0 character was in enough to stick with him. 1 class at 50, everything else ranging from 20-36. No jobs unlocked. So he's ahead, but there's still a lot of stuff to do. Also changed his name & appearance during open beta. I was pleased with how that turned out.

Same. I have too much invested in my 1.0 to consider starting over.

Rerolled. The players I played with in 1.0 are long gone, and the ones that came for 2.0 prefer to start on a new character server.
