You can ignore that after 21 seconds. I'm not looking for a lesbian girlfriend. ALL I WANNA KNOW IS...

Other than the original preorder bonus (I know I get the Onion Helm), what are the CE bonuses from ARR going to be? Yes, I really don't know a thing about how this works. Also, is it possible to like... upgrade my account to get early access or would I need to splash on another copy of the game and thusly lose my Onion Helm and whatever else?

Thank you for your consideration, answers may or may not get special brownies and/or rate ups.

You get a couple things like a Baby Behemoth Minion, Behemoth barding for your Chocobo mount, and a piece of armor that helps you level 1-10.

To get Early Access you'd have to buy a copy of ARR. You can apply the pre-order code to your existing account and give (sell?) the game code you get to a friend(complete stranger?)

Does it have to be a CE for ARR or any vanilla copy will do?

Being a 1.0 CE owner you will have all your 1.0 CE items (onion helm) and all the new CE 2.0 Items. Early access was givin to only legacy players (players who payed for a sub during the legacy event). All other players need to preorder a new copy( if you own a CE DO NOT buy the CE again it will not work, just get a reg copy) of the game to get a pre order code which they have started taking already.

If you just stay with your 1.0 CE edition you will be able to play on the 27th.

I Preorderd a new copy( I am a 1.0 CE holder like you) for the items and the early access. It was worth the money to me but some might not see it that way.

Th upgrade costs $30 regardless so I doubt it matters. You get all the 2.0 goodies including the Early Access.

Standard edition is fine. You're only buying it for the pre order code. You'll never use the game code.

One thing that confuses me about your post is that you preordered a new copy for items. Do you get some different items for a preorder of ARR as well?

The reason I'm asking is that I'm actually going away on business for a month soon, so I basically would get to play the game for a couple of days and then miss out. So, the early start is actually valuable to me. If I get some new items on top of the early access, that would definitely tip the scale towards eating the $30.

If I order a PS3 version from EB Games, can I use the pre-order code for my PC?

From EB Games/Gamestop, do they give you the code when you pre-order?

Thanks!

I think i saw somwhere that the preorder code applys to your account so it dosent matter what you play it on or which kinda you preordered ( only the game code matters once you register it) but dont take that for 100%

Also I got ym code on my pay stub once i put down 5$ at gamestop
