Hey ZAM community,
So, I have a funny predicament...I had to cancel an old order of the CE because I couldnt get the code to work, so I ordered a 2nd copy and got the code to work. Now I have 2 FF14:ARR registered onto my account...Anyone know if this will affect anything?
I dont see a way to take out the first copy.
Will this also make my characters disappear because maybe they're associated with the cancelled order?

Kidding, you'll be ok. You'll still need to register the CD code on your square enix ID page when you set up your subscription anyway.

Oh, its the digital download. What cd key? Do I need to do anything? Ive already redeemed the early access code with this new order.

i have a question.how am i gonna register my cs key to play on my ps3 for EA when the game is shipping gout next week? i wanted to link my ps3 to PC accounts but i need the ps3 game key. so how exactly am i gonna play for EA without the game key?

So heres my current dilemma:
So, I have 2 accounts registered on the https://secure.square-enix.com/account/app/svc/accffxiv page. - one is FF14 1 and the other FF14 2.
Im guessing FF14 1 is from the copy of the CE I CANCELLED because the code didn't work and I thought ordering a new copy would make it work
So then the FF14 2 would be the 2nd PCDL CE that I ordered and also the one from which the early access code worked for.
In addition, I also have under "registered games, add new game" http://na.square-enix.com/us/account/4943634 - I have 2 FF14:ARRs on it. One registered on the 20th and one registered on the 21st. The 20th is from the CE order I cancelled. The 21st is the FF14 2 which I ordered today.
My questions are:
1. What happens to the character I made with my first CE order (currently cancelled and void)?
2. I have the option of cancelling my FF14 1 service on that same account page. Should I do it?
3. Why am I so confused...?

The square enix members and the square enix ID are separate. There is a way to link the two, but you can do that later. Right now, no one is able to register codes on the site that uses your ID. It's the same page you go to set up your subscription. I suggest you take oxygen, and worry not. As of right now, you're going to play in the early access. You will still need to set up a payment plan. When you do, everything should be sorted out.
I don't know if any of you are familiar with early access. Guild wars 2 had early access, and you still had to use the registration code after to continue playing. Or else people would just play for free with pre order codes while cancelling their orders. Just be patient.

What about digital download for PC? I've already entered my codes and claimed my items. When they open EA do I get another code sent to me to prove I preordered or am I all done since my codes already went through?
Dont worry about there being two services. I have the same thing but because of a different issue. If you characters are on service 1 then make sure to keep that one. You can add the CD key (or game key) on release to that one or any other FFXIV service you like. As for the early access - there isnt currently a way to work out if you selected service 1 for it or not unless you can remember.

You probably just registered the serial code and not the registration code. They aren't even allowing registration codes to be entered, as far as I'm aware, especially due to none being in circulation (as the game hasn't even released yet) You would have never received that until it was paid in full. But, in the event that someone should end up with two service accounts (separate from product registration), you will be queried on log in as to which you want to use.

Thanks! I know for sure im set for early access so I'm good for now. Thanks everyone for your replies...now I'm really considering movin from excal to ultros...
