So do we think that leves and rest xp are accumulating?Follow

I heard that leves are wasted on your main because you only get 100.
Is it assumed that it's best to save them for grinding classes and areas you dont enjoy?

That's not a total of 100 (or 99, as many have posted) for the entire lifetime of your character. The 100/99 limit is on the number of allowances you can store up and hold onto. You get 3 leve allowances every 12 hours. If you never use any of your allowances for 17 days, you'll stop gaining more because you've hit that cap.

People have suggested saving them for 2nd/3rd/etc classes, since you can only get the exp from the main storyline missions and city quests once. Once you've done all of those quests, any new classes you level will have to rely on the hunting log, FATEs, levequests, guildhests, repeated dungeon runs, and the exp from killing mobs. Not having story based quests leaves a big hole, so levequests make up for it.

Is there a place where you can see how many levequest you have? And do guildhest and levequest both count as the same, or are they two different things to stack up?

I sure hope so. I'm gonna need them. I spent my time during P4 leveling PUG and LNC, only to find out my group needed a tank. Now I have to play catch-up during EA and start leveling GLD and CNJ.

In your journal, down the bottom of the left-hand side, you see your number of active quests (out of 30), number of actively accepted leves (out of 16), and your leve allowance (out of 99).

And no, levequests are the only things that draw from the allowance. Guildhests have no leve requirement (being group content, and through DF). I was often having the 2nd level 10 hest running in DF in the background (as LNC) whilst I was running around FATE hunting, hunting log farming or grinding. As I took CNJ to 15 first, I was caught short around level 12, to get to 15 and resume story quests - spamming hests, FATES & HL filled the gap.

But do what others have said (if you can), and save the first time runs on subsequent hests for 2nd+ classes - the first-time EXP bonus is insane. The above level 10 hest gave 675 base exp + 175 for clearing with no KO (so 850 total). First time, with no KO yielded around 6k EXP from memory. This sort of boost is the norm too. I've got to get MRD to 26 for Mercy Stroke for my future DRG, so I will use them on that class (+ tank = insta-group lol!) for mega-exp hits @ 15, 20 & 25.
