Any news on when we will have a complete NDA lift?

I have some more videos taken from this phase and would like to share (of course will say it is beta footage) so I was wondering when SE is gonna release the last portion of the NDA.

I know of course that EA is close so it doesn't REALLY matter but anyway! Smiley: tongue

I don't think you're supposed to release any video capture of the beta even if it is over.

I haven't seen anything officially, so the safest bet is to just wait for one more week.

I know for a fact that after 27 you can post whatever you want. I was just wondering if they are gonna release it sooner.

I don't remember seeing that you could post anything from before the live release after it goes live. From the agreement - " BETA TESTER HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT, EVEN AFTER THE COMMERCIAL VERSION OF THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC, BETA TESTER'S CONFIDENTIALITY OBLIGATIONS SHALL CONTINUE, EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY SET FORTH HEREIN. "

I may be wrong though.

The thing is it doesn't say it will forbid from posting videos. They already partially lifted the obligations to be able to post pictures and speak about it. I haven't read anywhere that they obligate us after release to not post videos.

They did say you could post things from the current beta each time, but not from the one previous.

Well not from phase 2 I believe but anyway it seems everything is on the table still so we will have to wait and see. Not to mention though that after the release...how would they be able to tell if it is beta footage?

You can hold it up to a light. If you can see George Washington's face, you know it's not the beta.

But yeah, the NDA and the lifting of the NDA basicly means "You can, from this point forward, post video's from the game that you did not make previously in our incomplete and non-final product".

I really dont think SE wants to see footage floating around from "demo's" that might not be an accurate display of their final release version. A little bit of logical thinking would get you so far already.

Yea was going to. And I wasn't really concern for SE's part but for youtube cause if SE was to report me I would get banned from youtube. So yea I guess it's safe to wait till after 27th.
