Did anyone else run into this FATE in East Shroud? It was filled with NM and the battle music was epic, It's also one of the acievement FATEs. Problem is, I couldn't get anyone down there in the corner to help with it. The main mob was a giant Ochu and had a bunch of Funguar subordinates. Me (MRD) and a CNJ tried it alone and while we didn't wipe, we couldn't make any progress, as the mobs were brickhouses.
I believe I know which one you are referring to (didn't do many FATEs but ran into a lot of them). I can't say the same when I was observing it. There were many people flailing sharp things around that night, I tell you.
Did that 1 a lot in P3. Nice rewards and it happened often. There are quite a few other FATEs that pop up in that area too.
I did it a few times and it gives around 12k EXP. You need a pretty good sized group of people to do it (at least, at 20 cap)
Did that one a few times in P3, never just 2 people though. Always had a lot of help.
Did it last night around 2 in the morning. Maybe 10-15 people. I switched to my 20 cnj to heal the tanks so I didn't get any xp. But I did get a minion reward from the fight.
The minion reward everyone gets upon completion from what I gather, and it's a little mini-mushroom pet.
It was definitely the hardest fate I came across over the weekend.

Tanked it twice on Hyperion, was very happy with my baby bun minion. It was so adorable. I was trying to check the other zones for a lvl 20 Fate that dropped other minions, but so far no luck.
Didn't realize you get achiements for FATE def checking them out come release
Wow, I didn't know you got a minion from this. Had I known it then, I may have been able to rally people to the cause. Thanks, that info will be valuable for recruiting people to tackle it on release. :D
Oh, by the way, you only get the achievement if you get the best possible rating. Just something to know going in.

Yes in phase 3, I tanked it. The music was awesome!

I came across it looking for farming mobs and switched to WAR to fight it for a bit. The adds were quite tough to take down HP. I eventually left the fate as I was on a mission to do something else and there was only an hour of time before P4 end so I never saw/got the rewards :( Shame I would have liked a new minion. Did anyone see the craftable minions by the way? Anyone with a high enough craft can see them in the crafting log.

Name of the enemy is "Lazy Lawrence"
there are also minions from gathering
mandragora (kidragora) from botany
baby coblyn (dont remember name) from mining
tiny adamntoise (tiny turtle i think) from fishing
Lvl 50 "rare" nodes. Easy to get though

Yes, you are absolutely correct, although I think it's spelled 'Laurence'. Could be wrong though.

I fought it several times during Phase 3, fun fight. I tried to do it on GLA once and ended up just flashing all the adds and kiting.. quite interesting XD.
