This didn't work for me.

It's honestly pointless... at this point! I am content. I'll just wait for the 24th. And hope this issue doesn't carry over.

Yes, but people have reported that they were unlocked and they didn't even reply to the thread.

As for myself, and many others, they can't login yet. It seems they're manually plucking characters out of limbo, so it's going to take time.

It is so random how they are doing it...

I replied on page 140 of the Gildraen thread, approximately 30 hours ago. I'm still locked out.

Whatever they're doing to get people in, it's either random or they're nowhere near going through the list that came together. Either way I think stating "most" is premature.

It didn't work for me either, I did get the Ul'dah screen and then it went back to the same error. Um...anyone want to post my info on that beta thread for me...please if you are going that way Smiley: grin

Sorry guys and gals.
I saw the twitter feed and went and tried and got in... I do feel bad for those people who were locked out. I was one of them for a long time. I got on basically to see if I could and then logged out and went to bed.

I can not believe it took them that long to even realize there was a issue and address people.. I worry with all the losses at SE they dont have the money or resources for such a big project and maybe rushing things to get this game out the door for some revenue. I really hope this aint the case. During beta someone should have been monitoring this 24/7 and not even in beta, you offer a service that runs 24/7 you better have someone watching it 24/7.

I just wish they would leave the beta running until they can fix this and the 90000 error. Nothing else really makes any sense to me at this point. The few people who might ***** if it pushed back the re-launch date back is negligible in comparison to the second backlash of butthurt that would follow another launch catastrophe.

Its personal preference and all, but yes we need to educate WoW players that this is OUR game, these are Characters and not Toons. Time to beat that into them one at a time.

The only thing I can think of with that one is that they know how to reproduce it so they can test it with the beta over.

You can't launch a game for a second time and have any thing less than a perfect launch.

I was locked out with a 3102 error, had to go to bed whilst still locked out so I don't know whether I will be able to login ok for early access or not. Going to feel like a big loser / sucker if SE burns me again with another **** poor launch.... And I think I won't be the only one!

Well, this isn't a launch, so we're safe? It was disappointing, but the game itself was quite playable. If they have fixed the issue, then we're golden. Even at peak server capacity I didn't notice any lag from the servers, they held up that well (Ultros was packed!). If they haven't fixed the issue and this crops up again, there's going to be even more backlash. Anyway, if you have 1.0 you get some free time anyway (a week right?) before you have to sub. So there's not a lot of harm playing our cards close to our chests, but what I've played of the game was a lot of fun.

Really? There were allot it wasn't playable for. I could not even log on, so to me it wasn't playable. It might have been playable to those who got in because so many actually could not get on. If those people actually would have been able to stay on it might have become more lagy.

The good news is once it becomes pay their will be some who leave and are only playing now because it is free.

Aw they extended the game time?
I went to bed, seeing how 2 am, was just killer for me to stay up with work tomorrow.
Ah, It feels like they gave JPN players more time then anything. However I am happy I was able to get to an inn for both my characters. =)

I was referring to the game itself, there was actually a game to play when you got in. I was hit by 3102 as well, but you know what? It's beta, it's free, if it turned you off to the game forever. OK. Your prerogative. WoW, EQ, UO, even Rift (which had an OK start, but still massive queuing/server splits/etc/) had massive issues at launch. If this bug is resolved because of the beta weekend I see smooth sailing.
