ps3 questionFollow

I have ffxiv 1.0 pc edition and an currently playing the open beta with it. If i purchased a ps3 version could i apply the code via square enix website to my existing 1.0 account and continue playing where i left off come the 24? Bare in mind i dont have a ps3. I just want into the early access on my pc with my 1.0 account. I could purchase a new version but i would have to create a new account and start over come the 24 which i dont want to do.
