I would settle for one decently written acknowledgement of the actual problem and a little bit of information posted anywhere on the internet just once. Not every hour, not every day, but once. It could be as short or even shorter than this very post, and contain as little information as "We're not sure how long this will take, so unfortunately we can't give you a time frame on when we'll be able to get things up and running again." If they actually could give us a time frame, great, but if not, even that information is better than no information.
