Is anybody thinking "Convention"?Follow

ARR is looking pretty good. So who's hoping for a convention next year? I had a good time at 2 of the last FFXI conventions. First one has to be in L.A.!

I'd be down to going to a Los Angeles convention for FFXIV.

The only gaming event I ever went to was when I lived in San Francisco. There's a mall there called the Metreon that used to be owned by Sony. They had the EQOA release there. It was pretty fun. The place was filthy with supermodels and nerds lol.

I live in Phoenix now but would definitely be down with a FF event/convention as long as it was within a few hours drive. I've contemplated heading to comic con in San Diego but its just too much. I think an FF event would be easier to enjoy.

San Diego would rock, since I live in town LA wasn't bad. They had at Renaissance Hollywood, so there was a lot to do when not at the convention.



I would recommend doing it once, every nerd should...it's like Mecca for geeks.

I doubt i'd be able to make one unless it was Texas bound... At least this year anyways... I've never been to one either so i think it would be a really interesting experience as well as hella fun!

Edit... While playing XI i became very good friends with most LS mates and a good few would fly in to LAN up at the house and have a good time out on the town as well... Good times i'll never forget! ;)
