I completely understand as well. Most people don't get how much actual work goes into development.
- $99/store license iOS/AndroidWP8
- Hours/day, A good JavaScript developer can get upwards of $90/hour. WPF/C# about the same (contract/self employed)
- Then there's server costs if you host a web app
- Time away from family, yourself, the actual game if it happens to be for a game
I've at least put in over 3500 hours on my app, site and hundreds more for my work. For free.
Don't listen to anyone complaining about $2.00. Now you app... does it work on Galaxy Nexus Google edition??? :)
