FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn for the PlayStation®3 (07/11/2013)

We previously announced that players on the PlayStation 3 could only link one copy of FFXIV: A Realm Reborn to a Sony Entertainment Network account. However, thanks to the cooperation of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc., this restriction has been lifted.

Players who have purchased multiple copies of FFXIV: A Realm Reborn may now register multiple service accounts to a single Sony Entertainment Network account.

Those who have preordered or are considering preordering, please review the launch date announcement.

Uh, of course not and why would you expect to be able to?

Because you could with XI on Xbox. As long as you had your own reg codes from PC, you only needed 1 copy to install the software.

With XI there was only one set of codes to have a game account. There are two for XIV so you'll have to have both to play on both systems.

So if 2 people have the PC version of FFXIV in a house hold you still would have to buy 2 copies of the PS3 version but you wouldn't have to flip your SEN account each time the other person logs in, you can just keep the same SEN account logged in and each person would be able to log into FFXIV. Thats what I am getting out of that announcement, is that right?

That's the way I read it too. So if you share the same Sony account with multiple people in the house, any of them can log in to ARR using their own SE Account on the one Sony account.
