Best Character to add to a duo of a Shaman and Thane?Follow

What would be the most helpful class that my brother and I can add to our duo of a Shaman(Myself) and a Thane(Brother) The third member will be our cousin. He is new to MMORPG's but, we will be helping him out along the way to get him good and broke in. My brother has the most expereince with DAoC(albion and Hib, Mid is fairly new to us both.) We just started new Characters on Mid and are only level 10 but, before we go any further, I wanted to get some input on what he could play that would be most helpful to the Trio but, also not so hard for him since he is new to this type of gaming. We are enjoying the Shammy/Thane Combo and plan to stick with it even though it might not be the best duo soon to be trio but, it works well so far. We plan to do PvE and RvR.
Spec builds would be great as well for all 3 of us. ATM I am doing 42 Aug 31 Cave just by what a 50th shammy told me. thanks ahead of time!

maybe try a runie to go with it. You would have buffs/heals from shammy, some tanking ability with thane, and then pure firepower damage from runie. Also gets you a speed class, and for RvR, a nearsight ability if you run into small groups as well.

Almost any other toon would work though. Having the shammy for buffs is semi-key.

Runemasters get speed. It is a spell that lets you run faster. It is caster speed, which is not as good as skald speed, but definitely better than nothing.

Nearsight is a spell that you cast on mobs firing from range. It lasts two minutes and reduces range on their attacks. It can make an archer or caster class near worthless. It is only semi-useful in PvE, but extremely powerful in RvR.
