Please fill me in,I`ve been gone for a while
the whole / lvl this is basically this : if you have a lvl 50 character on an active daoc account,when you create a new character you can go to the relavant trainer and do /level < some restrictions apply> and you can create a lvl 20 character instead of a lvl 1
just to add further, the two main exceptions are:
1) On Classic servers, there is no /lvl ability. You must start from Level 1 on all toons, regardless if you have level 50's there or elsewhere.
2) On regular servers, /lvl does not work on the catacombs classes. You do receive a 50% xp bonus though for these classes (that is if you already qualified for the /lvl bonus).
It is more or less a reward they installed for people that have already hit 50. They also recently said they think it was a mistake since it hurts people that are new to game and have problems finding groups because hardly anyone nowadays is under Level 20.
