Help. Does anybody know what happened to the Earthen Chaos Rune? Our guild spellcrafter doesn't find it on her list anymore but the spellcraftomatic still lists it as the gem for enhancing pacification.

I did check, and it does not appear on my list. The Herald lists it still as Earthen Chaos, but it is not on Kort's Spellcrafter Calculator that I use.

My guess would be it was removed because putting Pac into your template gives you no extra benefits? Most skills, putting + into them reduces variance on damage spells (or for melee, melee damage). There are some exceptions (like Stealth for instance). I looked over the Pac Baseline list and I don't see anything that +skill would help. There are no damage spells in the Pac line(s).

They should also remove chants from Albions lists, b/c that is another one that has zero benefit from having in your template as a paladin with 45+17 chants will get the same benefits as a paladin with 45+1. I think Pac is the same way.

Might be Mythic trying to help you not waste your imbue pts.

Thank you very much Thuri. I appreciated the input. I will recalculate and get our spellcrafter to do our healer's armor without that gem. (There are plenty of other things I can put on it.)

God another question, because you see so knowledgeable. Prissy's guide says our alchemist should be able to put more than one tincture (proc) on a piece of armor, according to it's quality, yet our alchemist (1100 skill) has tried but not been able to do it.

Only one tincture per item (with the exception that something like Legendary weapons require several tinctures just to make them).

YOu have to decide if you want procs/charges/ablatives, etc. on each piece of player made armor. You can not put these on anything except player made pieces of armor (and weapons).
