Weapons helpFollow

I Recently joined and was a little confused about the weapons. If anyone can explain what weapons are actually piercing weapons. What are blades weapons. Stuff like that. I got a spear and trained in piercing(spears/lances are polearms utilizing thrusting motions to deliver piercing attacks) so naturally i thought they would be under piercing weapons. Alas it said i wasnt trained in that weapon. I'm really not sure what weapons are in wich catagory. Any help would be divine.

Hibernia-hero. The main Fighter/warrior class. level 3 or 4 currently.

edit: well i selected hero during Char. creation but it says I'm a guardian or something.
