if your gonna do that then you might as well go ahead and drop another 150 dollars. on a new cpu. that would get you something that would do ok. look on newegg.com make sure you get the right socket for your mobo. you can try what your doing though. see if it works first. good luck.

well for starters the 256mb vidcard is the smart move right off the bat. thats the first thing u want to have the best of. next is ur memory and i recommend a gig but having 512 works good too. but with all the upgrades and stuff ur smaller processer would work a lot easier if it had the more ram. i have a fried who runs the same vidcard had 512ram and 1.3gproc he upgraded to a gig and he runs just fine. u should be able to use both ur sticks so thatll at least give u a little more. make sure to put the 512stick in the first slot though. on some systems it seems to have an effect. i would recommend getting a better cpu as soon as u can though. if u wanna know the specs to play u can chk out mythic.com (support help) and look it up. hope u get to the game soon lol. i got another 80days before i can play hehe
