Question about minstrel's acuityFollow

I'm not currently able to play daoc as i wont be back to the U.S. till sometime in January or else i would test for myself and answer my questions. However, i was talking to my buddy on the phone and he said that when he would use his buff bot and buff his minstrel with acuity he has no rise in charisma stats.

I remeber reading on a minstrel team lead post that minstrels were the only character that could not get their acuity up abover 300 like other characters with buffbots because the acuity buff for some reason would not work on Charisma.

My question is if i use the realm ability to up the stats of acuity will it move my charisma stat up. and Does charisma affect the damage of my instant DD's. I know that it helps keep the pet from resisting, but im looking for ways to up my instant damage spells.

Yes, about 1 hp more damage per Charisma point per round of shouts.

No, it doesn't. That is +insruments.

but im looking for ways to up my instant damage spells.

+inst (less return for utility than +char)
+spell damage
+resist peircing
