Hi All

Well i purchased DAOC today, was just the standard game, cost me AU$20.00 so thought I would give it a go after 3+ years of EQ.

My question is after all he patching that it did (around 100Mb) would I have gotten the two free expansions ? and all I have to do now is find a place that has the Atlantis and the Shadowed Islands expansions for sale is that right ?

Also have started a rogue, is lvl 4 almost 5 now, was thinking of going a Scout (as I played a ranger in EQ and loved him).

I believe so. You should be able to pick up Shrouded Isles for little of nothing and Atlantis will soon be dropping in price with the release of Catacombs.

No you still have to go download New Frontiers and Foundations. http://www.darkageofcamelot.com/expansions/

they even have an AUS DL site i believe.

Aye, Ladai is correct. Foundations and New Frontiers are seperate downloads.

I believe if you buy the platinum edition, everything is included. Classic, SI, TOA, Housing, and New Frontiers. You may still need further patching, but the basic files should be there. Otherwise, the free housing and frontiers expansions are pretty heavy downloads.

Hmmm, yeah. ladiah is right as said before, but just buy si and toa, it wont cost more then 40 american usd, im not sure how AUS money works, but i think its like the english pound right? real close i think. anyways, most ppl who switch from eq to daoc end up quiting at lvl 10. play till your 24 on a main stream server such as lancelot, merlin, guinevere etc etc etc, and play thidranaki the battleground. thats the first fun thing in the game, to me lions den sucks cuz siege is over abundant, killaloes alright but not enough ppl. thid is just right. get ur *** sum nice gear and ur set. enjoy daoc and dont play a 2 hand pally cuz theyre gimp, except cutty who pwns.
