Ok, im alittle confused about the graphics, and im thinking about getting the game, but i dont want no crap-*** 2001, outdated graphics! Here is what makes me wonder:

Comments: This is not very impressive in terms of graphics, and for a game this popular
EXAMPLE 2 = http://www2.fileplanet.com/images/130000/136481ss.jpg
Comments: Now this is more like it.. although now characters in the shot, it does not look to be of the same version as the previous screen.
EXAMPLE 3 = http://www.darkageofcamelot.com/screenshots/ss14.jpg
Comments: this shows off some character models, and they look like they are from another game compared to the first one, these are more detailed..
So, im downloading the game now, with the 7 day trial etc, what can i expect in terms of graphics? outdated 2001 crap-*** graphics or nice, furtile blushing up-to-date graphics?

One more thing, about the classes. Do you develope a proffession over time? or is it like, if you choose to be something, a scout for example, you cant become anything else then a scout?

the graphics in DAoC with ALL of the expansions is as good if not better then SWG to give you an other MMORPG compairison.
with the classic or just SI graphics they are still better then most MMORPGs out there but not quite as good as SWG. they are on about par with CoH at that point, as CoH did not put much code into thier base graphics, but loads into the power graphics/partical effects.
even for an old game, DAoC when fully loaded with expansions and patched is one of the best looking games for eye candy out there in the MMORPG world.
yes games like DIII and more current games are better, but almost all FPS have better graphics then MMORPGs, they dont have the content though.
