good class to play with a nightshade?Follow

Greetings!

I am new to this forum and this game. I have been stumbling around on the test server just to get a general feel and I think I like it. I have been retired from EQ (65 ranger/50 enchanter) for over a year and have been getting the itch to sink my teeth into some online fantasy again!

I have a few questions and want some opinions. My girlfriend is dead set on playing a nightshade (or its equal on albion-whatever that is) and I would like to play the best class I can to compliment her as a duo. I am looking for the best balance of all aspects of playing (PvE, RvR, solo, pick-up groups).I will also be able to bot her when she isn't playing. I have read somewhere that a warden is good, but not so much in RvR, and that 2 nightshades are awesome in RvR, but only so-so in PvE. ... enchanter type maybe? I dunno.

So, basically ...what is the best all around class to play with a nightshade on Hibernia, and what would be Albion's equivalent 8)

Also, any suggestions on a good hibernia/albion server would be welcome.

I apologize for the broad spectrum question, but I know many of you really like to give your 2 cents worth ... that's what I want to hear 8)

Thanks in advance!

Nightshade is a class. Do you mean race?

No, class.

Nightshade with a Ranger? Nightshade with a Warden? Nightshade with a Bard?

Those are what I am leaning toward after doing more research.

The best CLASS, not race. There will be TWO CHARACTERS:
NIGHTSHADE & <INSERT CLASS>

Well, I think I've narrowed it to Warden or Bard anyway. I still want to be groupable aside from just the two of us 8)

I've been reading posts all night trying to familiarize myself with the "speak of the land" and different Hibernia classes. I think I'm going blind ...
