Is it a good combination to have both Two-handed and Polearm in skill?

As a pally your specialty is chants, so no cutting there until 46 at least. As the 2H and pole require a base style, eg slash, crush or thrust, u need to spend on both for base dmge ...
So the answer is no, it will weaken your dmge.

Last I checked pally's couldnt go pole.
for an armsman 50parry/48pole/30slash is sweet, thats how my armsman is and i can kill most paladins (hard to do on an armsman)
need the parry in there so you dont get smacked arround like a red headed step child :P

I would choose either to go with polearm or 2h.
Do not split your points up cause then you spend your skillpoints on 2 special attack lines and never get one up to max.
Speccing into your special attack <ie. polearm or 2h> increases your maximum damage.
Speccing in the damage type <ie. slash, crush, thrust> increases your minimum damage.
So to get the max amount of damage you should concentrate on just 1 special attack skill.
