VW vs. FriarFollow

#1 Jan 22 2004 at 9:23 PM Rating: Decent
OK people, i've heard so many arguments about who would win in a duel, a Valewalker (VW) or a Friar. I myself am a VW. In RvR i've killed quite a few friars but in turn i have been killed by them.

Please be honest about this, do not say that u have killed 50 friars or Valewalkers and never been touched by them or anything.

Who do YOU think would win, honestly.

Should be pretty even. Friars have the end regen buff... Valewalkers have procing styles and offensive proc. Their armor is about the same because of the VW abs buff so they are comparable. Neither one is going to win every time.

There are too many variables to make a blanket statement. I have both a friar and a VW. In general, pitting the "average" VW against the "average" friar in MELEE (i.e., no uber-SC'ed stuff, etc.) I think the friar should win. The VW just has too high a miss rate and too low a damage factor. The friar hits harder than the VW can ever hope to. So, unless the VW manages to get off an impressive array of procs, etc., he's dogmeat.

My pick would be a paladin to beat them both.

Hi,

if it must be one of those both chars play a Friar.
U should give him 50 staff, 6 or 7 reju (so u can cure poison and desease) and the rest in enh.

Its a damn good char for soloing in pve, but Friars re not that good in pvp (to less hp and armor ((damageoutput is quite ok))).

Hope i was able to help a bit.

Cu =)
