me and my friend bought the ffxi game not too long ago we figured that we both could play on the same accoutn at the same time... is this possable?
we both have hte game installed and i was wondering if we both can play on ONE account ( same acc.) at the same time..? I heard about creating a character was like 25 cents. and this other hing with identities waslike 1.25 can someone explain identities and if there is a possable way we can play with eachother on the same accoutn at the same account (we both have the same cd keys)

No two characters on the same account cannot play at the same time. You would both have to have seperat accounts to play at the same time. Also to have seperate accounts you have to have different copies of the game, for the keys. I don't know if you would have to reinstall the game from the new copies but you would need the keys to start a new PlayOnline account. It is $1 per each character past the first, not $.25. Chances are you were looking at the pro-rated cost.
On the other hand if you do not play at the same time, you could get away with different characters on the same account, but you will share friends lits, messages and the like. You could create a different handle for each of you, but I don't know what difference this makes.
