Hello,

I have taken the advice in a previous thread and made another char who is a theif to make my main char some cash.

I have made a steal macro for myself but I cant get one aspect of it right. I want it to go something like...

/p Stealing from <t>
/ja "Steal" <t>
/wait 300 ( 5 min cooldown for steal)
/p Steal Ready.

I hate clicking my macro to see how much time is left for me to steal again. The first part of the macro works but the ready msg comes up to fast. Is it possible that the seconds on the wait is to high?.. or does anyone know how I can do this macro another way if it is possible. Any help is greatly appricaited.

Thanks.

Your problem is the /wait 300. Anything larger then 20 and its read as zero.

yeah you'd have to check the JA timer manually i'm afraid.. dunno why you'd have to /p something when you steal tho :p

You probably can't put that many lines into the macro though..can someone confirm/deny this?

The max line length for a macro is either 5 or 6 lines. Far too short to macro a 5 minute wait.

this is not like provoke or SA...just attempt it about 1 time every fight, maybe every other fight. that should be about right. if it's not, then when you fail, you'll see right away how much time you have left and can be ready for the next fight or so.
