I'm not sure what you're asking. Assuming you're talking about aug slot groups (raid versus normal), I don't think they make any difference except what will fit into them. At the end of the day, any armor that's "infusible" (which is basically everything now), will have a purity stat (50 for normal armor, 75 for raid armor). There are augs that can fit into the armor that can increase the purity level (up to 25%). Purity is basically the percentage of potential gains from a powersource that the given armor piece will provide. When a powersource is equipped, it will provide stats (both negative and positive) to any visible armor piece with a purity stat, and will drain power from the source based on the number of such items equipped.
There's a ton of sites out there with information about the specific stats on each power source, and the effect of different purity levels on them. I'm sure if you look around, you can find more info than I could write in a post on the subject.
