Dear Spammers From around the world...Follow

I'm puzzled as to why people think this is the forum to spam. They were at it again last night.

And I got one in PM. Someone out of the blue, asking if they could trust me. This girl, you see, has a dad with 6.5 million dollars in a bank in ivory coast, and just needs me to send her money to help get that money released, and then when that happens, she'll give me 1 million cash (or something like that, I didn't read it all). Sounds legit right?

Should be better, again, for now. They love striking while we're sleeping it seems.


That's some nice Nigerian-price-style spam right there. :P

The forums they pick are random, but usually I see it happen on the busier ones. Makes sense, I guess, over in crazy spammer-ville.

I know. And they picked me out of all the people in the world. How lucky can a guy get!!!! I feel like the Bundy's when they won that trip to Lower Uncton; they put the name of everyone in the world in a big hat and picked mine out!!!

THe PM spam limiter function at very least does seem to still be working. So that shouldn't be as major a problem as it might otherwise be.
