Druid Kill shot spell/aaFollow

News to me. Altho I bet you could kill a level 1 mob "one shot" with your top nuke at 61!

Is he thinking of Storm Strike?

Or maybe meant a buff from getting a kill shot, but didn't really read that way. And I don't recall if Dru get one or not.

Storm Strike is an incredible AA, especially maxed out and then with maxed out crit frequency and crit damage AA's. It sure is a one-shot mana-free kill against a lot of mobs, but unfortunately NOT any that would give XP for the level of the caster. When I'm doing a root-rot or a quint-kite I always cast it every time it refreshes. Yeah, DUH, but I've talked with higher-level druids that have never bought it or don't buy beyond first level because it seems so "weak" initially. It does take a lot of AA's to max it out but then it's a WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION! ;)

Banishment leaves no mob corpse, so no loot and I don't think you get XP from a banishment kill (altho I'd have to confirm that.) It's strictly a desperation spell and only for lower levels since I'm pretty sure it won't "banish" higher-level elementals and summoned mobs. Another thing to test tho since I haven't used it in ages.

There are variations on Banishment such as level 98 Exterminate the Unnatural which do extra damage against summoned and have a CHANCE to insta-kill. I'll have to play with that and see if the insta-kill triggers if it leaves a corpse and gives XP. This is part of a line of spells I haven't had much use for, maybe my loss?
